Historic Wedding Location South Tyrol

Celebrate your marriage in a lush natural landscape abounding in history and in tradition

Our Hotel “Alte Goste” boasts a long-standing tradition of hospitality.

The ancient Roman stone located in front of the house is there to remind visitors of the origins of the “Goste”, officially mentioned in documents way back in 1142.  Our tradition-rich home is tightly bound to the history and development of local tourism: the ”Alte Goste” was indeed the first establishment in Valdaora to welcome travellers and holiday makers.

The last four generations of our family has put passion in the wellbeing of our guests who are welcomed with cordiality and cheerfulness in the green heart of Val Pusteria.

Our home is renowned for its excellent cuisine based on regional and international dishes, skilfully prepared by our two Chefs.

In the congenial atmosphere of our restaurant, the pleasure of sitting at the table will transform into a unique taste and flavour experience.

Our dining hall can seat up to 110 guests. Our top location is the old hay barn, ideal for aperitifs (up to 180 people), dinners (80 people), ceremonies and anniversaries (up to 180 people).

In our ancient vaulted basements we have two unique cellars, the “Gostnerkeller” and the “Weinkeller”.

The walkway that leads to the small lake offers a picturesque scenario for the unforgettable moments of a fairy-tale wedding. The 5,000 m2 park, tended by our son, offers endless opportunities for organizing group parties and wonderful evenings.

This is indeed the perfect location for organizing an aperitif, a dinner or a party in three different settings in a single historically meaningful venue.

It is also possible to book rooms in the Hotel.
